Join Terrance Cooley, Decision Scientist and Data Architect with over 13 years of experience building solutions for mission-critical public sector initiatives, as he explores leadership fundamentals tailored for direct care professionals new to leadership roles.
This interactive session is designed specifically for emerging leaders in behavioral health, those transitioning into leadership positions, and students or recent graduates preparing for leadership roles. Terrance will share practical approaches for developing your leadership skills, advocating for yourself, and creating sustainable impact in your organization.
The 45-minute presentation will be followed by a 15-minute Q&A where participants can engage directly with Terrance through audio or chat.

Terrance Cooley is a decision scientist and data architect with over 13 years’ leadership building solutions for no-fail public sector missions. A former cyber threat hunter for the US Air Force, he blends expertise in process engineering, program management, HR and IT to champion cross-functional transformations that unlock human-digital potential vital to innovation agility. Terrance additionally serves as an adjunct instructor for Fullstack Academy, sits on the atlas copilot advisory board and the Leader Transition Institute board of directors, and co-chairs the Western Governors University California Tech Impactors Network.
A retired foster care resource parent with over 23K hours of direct service across IL and CA, Terrance earned his BS in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance, MBA in IT Management, and MS in Data Analytics from Western Governors University. He is pursuing his PhD in Community Psychology at National Louis University. His current certifications include PMP, SPHR, GPHR and SSCP.
