The California Health Care Foundation (CHCF) is dedicated to advancing meaningful, measurable improvements in the way the health care delivery system provides care to the people of California, particularly those with low incomes and those whose needs are not well served by the status quo. We work to ensure that people have access to the care they need, when they need it, at a price they can afford. CHCF informs policymakers and industry leaders, invests in ideas and innovations, and connects with changemakers to create a more responsive, patient-centered health care system.

CARESTAR Foundation is reimagining emergency and prehospital care in California to elevate community voice and power, to build a movement, and be a catalyst for systems change. To improve health outcomes for all Californians, CARESTAR Foundation uses a racial equity lens to fund and advocate for improvements in emergency and prehospital care.

Since 1941, the Community Foundation of Greater New Britain has aimed to inspire philanthropy, responsibly manage permanent charitable assets, and partner to address key community issues through strategic leadership. Aligned with their mission, the Community Foundation of Greater New Britain is proactive with a portion of its grantmaking funds in order to seek out, create and support projects and initiatives that focus on the broader community as well as nonprofits that serve the community.

The Behavioral Health Administration (BHA) is a new cabinet member-led agency within the State of Colorado, housed within the Department of Human Services, and is designed to be the single entity responsible for driving coordination and collaboration across state agencies to address behavioral health needs. The BHA is instrumental in achieving the State’s vision to have a comprehensive, equitable, accessible, affordable, and effective continuum of behavioral health services that meets the needs of all people in Colorado in the right place, at the right time, to achieve whole person health and wellbeing.

Peg’s Foundation, the largest mental health funder in Northeast Ohio, believes in relevant, innovative, and at times, disruptive ideas to improve access to care and treatment for the seriously mentally ill. Peg’s Foundation promotes the implementation of a stronger, more effective, compassionate and inclusive health care system for all. Founded in 2001, Peg’s Foundation provides grants to mental health, education, and the arts. Guided by Founder, Peg Morgan to “Think Bigger,” Peg’s Foundation understands recovery from mental illness is the expectation, and mental wellness is integral to a healthy life.
