The Equity-Grounded Leadership Fellow Program coaches support Fellows by providing one-on-one coaching tailored to individual leadership goals. The 2023-2024 Coaches will help guide Fellows on their journey to courageous inquiry of personal and professional biases that impact how one views theirself and others.

Monica currently works at Axis Talent Partners as a Sr. Search Operations Manager. There she focuses on bringing equity to the hiring process for social impact organizations
Destiny Moore Saldívar
Destiny is a coach and licensed social worker passionate about holistic wellness for people of color. She founded Caona Wellness to help people, especially womxn, reconnect with their strengths and values to empower conscious choices that lead to more fulfilling lives. She has led over 35 wellness workshops for various companies, organizations and schools, supported dozens of clients 1:1 and raised over $6,000 for wellness causes both domestic and abroad.
Elijah (he/him/his) is the Senior Manager of Programs and Services for the Mental Health & Recovery Services Board of Lucas County, a county government agency responsible for ensuring a continuum of behavioral health services exists for residents. He remains intentional in informing his work with trauma informed care principles, cultural humility, and justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion.. His work has been recognized locally and nationally.
Erica Shaw is a Maxwell Leadership Certified Coach, Trainer, and Speaker dedicated to elevating organizations through impactful leadership development training and coaching. Erica has focused on developing E&I strategies that encompass both individual and interactive learning, clear accountability, and heart-changing storytelling. Her goal is for every leader to feel comfortable and confident being their authentic self.

Currently serving as CEO-Elect for Hope Cooperative, April streamlines practices, provides professional coaching, and resolves organizational matters. With a passion for effective business practices, quality improvement, and privacy regulations, she has consistently delivered impactful results throughout her career.
Adam Swanson, MPP
Adam provides direct consultation support to several state agencies, U.S. territories, and other public health systems regarding the implementation and improvement of public health approaches to suicide prevention. In his role, he focuses on the development, management, and leadership of group learning and practice transformation initiatives.
